books i'm planning to read
Aug. 3rd, 2021 12:46 pmI’ve been trying to read more this year, and it’s been going. Um. Not well, to say the very least. I don’t think I read a single book in July. It just feels so much easier to reach over to my phone and open up a fic, and I know that reading is reading, but I really ought to expand my literature taste instead of reading coffeeshop AUs over and over again. So I pulled this list off my notebook so you guys can publicly shame me when I don’t read <3 (jkjk…… haha unless??), but here’s my list of novels/memoirs + one short fiction book + poetry books I’ve been meaning to read since the start of summer:

I genuinely don’t know why half of these books are on my list or where they came from since I made this list a long while ago and my memory sucks, but hopefully I’ll enjoy some of them! Maybe I’ll make another post about books that I’ve read this year, but we’ll see.
